About the Museum

The Ballston Spa Museum of Children's Art showcases a variety of children's artwork from the surrounding areas. It was conceptualized by Crystal Horn, a mother of two little girls, who studied art and its cultural significance while studying in college.

Crystal developed the museum with the hope that it share with the community the creation of children and how it is culturally significant. She envisioned an atmosphere of openness, creativity, and a fresh perpective where we are reminded of the natural insight of children and their perspective of the world before them.

The museum is nestled in Ballston Spa's downtown, right on Route 50. Ballston Spa is a small village in upstate New York where independently owned businesses flourish, and the potential for a genuine experience exists on every corner. The residents of Ballston Spa are a hearty mix of young families, and established residents.
